Heavy fog is believed to have contributed to a two-vehicle crash on the south Perimeter Highway Friday morning.
Watch:
At about 10 a.m., two pickup trucks collided on the Perimeter at St. Mary’s Road, sending one into the ditch. Traffic was reduced to one westbound lane as crews worked to clear the wreckage.
Visibility at the time of the crash was around 50 metres, creating a risk for the white-coloured RCMP cruisers sitting on the side of the road.
No injuries were reported.
Several area highways were also reporting poor visibility and icy conditions. For up-to-date road conditions, call 511 or check online.
