A 27-year-old woman was carjacked at gunpoint late Friday afternoon at St. Vital Centre.
Police say the woman had just parked her vehicle shortly before 5 p.m. when she was approached from behind by a male between the ages 15- and 16-years-old. The Caucasian suspect pulled a gun on the woman and demanded her car keys. The woman handed over her keys and fled into the shopping centre where she alerted police.
The suspect was wearing a white ski jacket and dark-coloured toque at the time.
The stolen vehicle is described as a 2008 white Volkswagen Rabbit with Manitoba licence plate ERK 959.
