Blue Bombers to Mingle with Hockey Fans

Players from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will move from the football field to the hockey rink this week in support of the MJHL.

The Bombers’ first stop will be at the MTS Iceplex tonight during the Winnipeg Blues’ home game against the Neepawa Natives at 7:30 p.m. Blue Bombers Doug Brown and Chris Cvetkovic will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. along with mascots Buzz and Boomer.

Then on Friday, head coach Paul LaPolice, quarterback Buck Pierce and offensive lineman Glenn January will sign autographs at the Selkirk Recreation Complex during the Selkirk Steelers and Waywayseecapo Wolverines game. Fans planning on attending the game are encouraged to wear blue and gold.
