Once in the area of Main Street and Broadway, the passenger spit on the driver. He then pulled the driver out of his seat and off the bus, where he began assaulting him. The driver sustained upper body injuries and police were called. He received treatment in hospital and was released.
The suspect fled on foot and is described as a clean shaven man in his 20’s between 170 and 180 lbs., and about 5’10” with black collar-length hair. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (204) 986-6668.
