Four men are dead and another is injured following a trailer fire in Selkirk early Saturday morning.

Manitoba RCMP say the fire engulfed the trailer on Bermuda Bay shortly before 5 a.m.

A 19-year-old Selkirk man inside the trailer was able to escape and call for help. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Lawrence Traverse, 42, and his son, Gerald, 18, were killed in the fire, as well as the trailer’s owner, Jason March, 39. A 37-year-old also perished.

Autopsies will be performed in Winnipeg on Monday morning.

The Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner is investigating.
