The Al Simmons Band (JAZZ WINNIPEG)
Al Simmons will perform at the Park Theatre on Saturday, bringing his multi-prop, music-filled style to 698 Osborne Street.
For two performances as a part of Jazz Winnipeg’s 2011/2012 Concert Season, Simmons has invited three of Winnipeg’s top jazz musicians — Ron Paley (piano/accordion), Greg Lowe (guitar) and Daniel Koulack (multi-instrumentalist) — to join him to perform new, never-heard-before material as well as best-loved classics from his catalogue of recordings.
Adult tickets are $20 in advance, or $25 at the door. Kids are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Showtimes are 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
