Nominations are now open for an award given out to inspire individuals to pursue their humanitarian goals.
The Canadian Red Cross of Manitoba will give out the Young Humanitarian of the Year Award and the Humanitarian of the Year Award at a gala on Thursday, May 24.
The awards recognize the spirit of humanity in Manitoba, and generate funds to further the humanitarian work of the Canadian Red Cross in Manitoba.
Nominations will be accepted until Thursday, March 8, 2012. Nomination forms can be obtained at RedCross.ca/Manitoba or by calling 1-866-685-4250.
