The Winnipeg Comedy Festival will have another star-studded lineup this year when it runs April 5-15.
Organizers unveiled the roster of talent on Wednesday, which includes hosts Alan Thicke, Caroline Rhea and Harland Williams.
The comedians will open the Mayan-themed festival, which promises to be the “biggest, baddest, most world-beating festival” yet.
Performers by the likes of Sean Cullen, Elvira Kurt and Sherri D. Sutton will bring their wit to the Gas Station Arts Centre. Nikki Payne, Scott Thompson, Debra DiGiovanni, and local favourites Ryan McMahon, Dean Jenkinson and John B. Duff will also perform.
“After last year’s blockbuster 10th anniversary, we did spend a millisecond wondering if we should scale back and go gently into our second decade, but where’s the fun in that?,” said artistic director Al Rae.
