Two teen girls were killed Monday in a snowmobile crash in southwestern Manitoba.
RCMP say the youths, aged 14 and 17, were driving a snowmobile on a farm property about six kilometres northwest of Boissevain when they collided with a large stationary trailer. The crash happened around 11:30 a.m.
Both teens were pronounced deceased in hospital.
The 14-year-old was a Boissevain resident, while the 17-year-old was a visiting student from outside of Canada. Their name won’t be released.
RCMP are continuing to investigate.
