Investors Group Field (HANDOUT)
The City of Winnipeg and its partners in the new football stadium at the University of Manitoba have spent the last three months creating an event day strategy for when Investors Group Field opens on July 26.
Officials from the city, U of M, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and BBB Stadium Incorporated created the plan to address all aspects of event days at the stadium to ensure a successful time for fans, residents and members of the university community.
Details of the plan will be provided directly to residents at the community-organized meetings, as well as to the university community at several open houses.
