A two-vehicle crash in Western Manitoba sent a 21-year-old man to hospital with serious injuries on Thursday.
RCMP say the crash between a semi-trailer truck and a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta happened at about 5:50 p.m. at the intersection of Magazine Road and Waggle Springs Road in the RM of Cornwallis.
Police report the semi was travelling eastbound on Magazine Road at the time when it collided with the Jetta heading southbound on Waggle Springs Road, which is controlled by a yield sign.
The area man driving the Jetta was taken to hospital with serious, undetermined injuries, while the 61-year-old man driving the semi was not injured.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
