Pancakes Served Up for Annual Food Bank Fundraiser

Winnipeg Mayor Sam Katz, police Chief Keith McCaskill, and members of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are serving up pancakes this morning in support of Winnipeg Harvest.

The 5th Annual Community Breakfast at Ecole Robert H. Smith School will run from 6:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

The breakfast will bring together staff, students, families and the community for the fundraiser, with proceeds going to support the Winnipeg food bank. Breakfast is a $5 donation or $15 for families.

Local businesses will also be attending and will offer massages, haircuts cappuccinos and coffees. There will also be a silent auction.

Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item with them.
