École Viscount Alexander will see staff, parents and community members offer workshop-style presentations to students. Interior designers, engineers, nurses, dentists, hacky sack and even Yoga-laties instructors as just a few of the many offerings students will be experiencing.
“More than ever, our children need people to look up to as role models, heroines and female leaders to inspire the leader in each one of us,” the Pembina Trails School Division said in a release.
The event begins at 12:30 p.m.
International Women’s Day will be celebrated internationally on March 8.
