Two University of Manitoba squash students picked up medals at the Canadian University/College Squash Championships this past weekend.
Nikki Todd won gold, while Andrew Boumford won bronze in the competition, held March 2-4 at the University of Calgary.
Todd’s opponent in the final was Ashley Clarkson where the two played five games resulting in scores of 8-11, 11-8, 13-11, 7-11, 11-7.
On the men’s side, Boumford played Cameron Seth for 3rd place with game scores of 11-7, 11-9, 13-11. Andrew’s only loss in competition was to the winner, Graeme Schnell.
