Buskers are a thing of normality when you visit The Forks, and now the search is on for a fresh round of entertainers at the popular tourist destination.

The Scotiabank Busker’s Festival is set for April 27 and 28, where aspiring buskers can get the chance to earn a spot of their own. The annual competition will decide who earns the privilege to hold a coveted busker spot in the market.

“Busk Stops” were first introduced in 1992 at The Forks, where light-hearted local and touring entertainment adds to the atmosphere.

Anyone interested in becoming a busker can call (204) 987-4356 or e-mail buskers@tf-np.ca. Applications and guides are available at TheForks.com.
