The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have handed over a record-setting amount of donations to Football Manitoba from its 50/50 program last season.
The football club announced Tuesday that $156,000 was raised through the generosity of loyal Blue and Gold fans.
“We are always proud to be able to help out our young athletes and coaches through Football Manitoba and are very excited to present them with this record-setting amount based on our 50/50 sales from last season,” said Blue Bombers’ chief operating officer Jim Bell.
Funds raised will help Football Manitoba continue to executive development opportunities for players and coaches.
