This year’s star-studded Winnipeg Comedy Festival won’t have any problem tickling your funny bone, as celebrities and comedians provide 10 days of entertainment at venues across the city.
This year’s 11th annual festival runs April 5-15 and includes hosts Alan Thicke,Caroline Rhea and Harland Williams.
The Mayan-themed festival promises to be the “biggest, baddest, most world-beating festival” yet. If that last line alone didn’t convince you, perhaps Shannon Tweed can sway you to come out. Tweed, the Canadian-born wife of KISS frontman Gene Simmons — will join stand-up comedian and former Winnipegger David Steinberg as host of the WCF’s Friday and Saturday evening galas.
ChrisD.ca is giving away six pairs of tickets to the festival’s six galas for you to win. The galas will be held on April 12, 13 (X2), 14 (X2) and April 15. All galas will be held at the Pantages Playhouse Theatre.
