The red carpet is being prepped for the first ever Winnipeg Fashion Week, with well-known fashion designers and industry movers and shakers converging on the city.
The newest Canadian fashion week event will be April 19 to 28, and will showcase the latest trends for the spring/summer 2012-2013 season.
Produced by The Creative Group, this first edition of WFW will highlight the creative expertise and leading design of more than 10 designers ranging from the established to the aspiring as they unveil their inspired interpretations for the coming months.
Several venues will play host to an array of fashion shows during the event, including the Winnipeg Convention Centre, Portage Place Shopping Centre, Opera Ultralounge, Victoria Inn, Lennard Taylor’s studio at Unit 1B, 89 Princess Street, and Canad Inns Garden City.
