A stray coyote turned up in the most unlikely of places Monday afternoon — a downtown Winnipeg parkade.
The coyote was spotted around the noon hour behind 201 Portage Avenue in the Albert Street parkade.
Winnipeg police and Manitoba Conservation responded and located the wild animal, where they were eventually able to corner it and tranquilize it.
The coyote was placed into a cage, and will be released in Beaudry Park later today.
