A collision between two SUVs in St. Boniface Monday night may have been caused by wet roads after heavy rainfall.

An off duty Winnipeg police officer witnessed the crash, which happened just before 8 p.m. at the intersection of St. Mary’s Road and Marion Street.
No injuries were reported, but airbags deployed in both of the vehicles involved.
Traffic on Marion was blocked temporarily as crews cleared the scene.
