Pair Charged in Drug Bust on Manitoba First Nation

Two people are facing drug-related charges after RCMP executed a search warrant on a Keeseekoowenin First Nation residence on March 17.

Police located about 42 grams of marijuana along with a quantity of cash.

A 36-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were arrested on scene. Both have since been released on a promise to appear until a court date on April 17 in Minnedosa.

Police are continuing to investigate.
