The city’s pools and recreation centres will be welcoming thousands of Winnipeg students off school this week for spring break.
Week-long activities are planned at several City of Winnipeg facilities, including public libraries, which will host more than 40 spring break programs suitable for children, teens, and families.
Activities include collage workshops, sock puppets, a Wii gaming tournament, magicians, an origami workshop and other fun.
The 189-foot indoor waterslide at Elmwood Kildonans Pool will also be open every afternoon during the week.
