The Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ Blue Lightning Dance Team will be going co-ed this season, transforming into a high level athletic stunt team to complement on-field dancers.

The football club has hired coaches who are currently working with the U of M Bisons cheer team to help make the transition.

Public tryouts for the 2012 team will take place on Sunday, April 22 at McPhillips Station Casino in the Upper Deck Sports Bar. Registration will begin at noon and participants must be 18-years-old to tryout. Further information is available at BlueBombers.com.
