Winnipeg firefighters had a difficult time getting a handle on a grass fire that burned out of control on Monday night.
Watch:
The grass fire near Day Street and Gunn Road started shortly before 9 p.m. The blaze had crews wading through several feet of brush to access the fire, which burned for nearly two hours.
Several grass fires in the city have been keeping emergency personnel busy due to the recent dry conditions.
There was no reported damage to any area structures.
