Cupcake lovers helped provide $1,470 to the Health Sciences Centre Foundation on February 16 by purchasing a sugary treat from The Cupcake Corner.

During the HSC Foundation’s Gift of Hope Radiothon, the local cupcake shop donated 50% of each dozen cupcakes sold to the foundation, along with five other companies. The Cupcake Corner made nearly 2,400 cupcakes and delivered them to HSC.

“It’s great to see our local community participate in supporting healthcare in our province,” said John Mohan, president and CEO of the HSC Foundation. “We’re thankful to the Cupcake Corner for partnering with us in offering world-class research and technology to enhance healthcare in Manitoba.”
