March 28, 2012 8:16 AM | Entertainment

The first Architecture + Design Film Festival will take over the Winnipeg Art Gallery and Cinematheque April 18-21.

The festival represents a growing interest regarding the intersection of art, architecture and urban planning, and will bring some sought after films to the city.

Films cover a range of topics from architecture and urban design to graphics and product design. The lineup includes “Urbanized and Helvetica,” “Koolhaas Houselife,” “How Much Does Your Building Weigh, Mr. Foster?,” and a handful of others.

Tickets for Urbanized (April 18) can be purchased in advance at the Winnipeg Arts Council, 103-110 Princess Street, McNally Robinson Booksellers at Grant Park Shopping Centre, or at the door. All other tickets can be purchased at Cinematheque, 100 Arthur Street, at the time of the screening.
