An award-winning television series on living a healthy lifestyle through weight loss and a proper diet is coming to Winnipeg next month.
“X-Weighted” is on a cross-Canada tour, which portrays inspirational stories of individuals and families transforming their lives through exercise, mental fitness and healthy eating.
X-Weighted Connect Winnipeg will be a day-long event at Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute on Saturday, April 14. Participants will learn to identify and navigate around habits currently preventing them from achieving and maintaining a healthy and sustainable weight.
Several breakout sessions will be held with specialists in their field, including Dr. David Macklin, Paul Plakas, and Steffany Hanlen. Sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Personal trainer Paul Plakas will pump up participants at the end of the day with a butt-kicking workout.
Tickets are $99.95, or $139.90 for a ticket, workbook and Plakas’ bootcamp. Net proceeds will go to local charities.
We’re giving away two tickets (valued at $99.95 each). Just enter below.
