The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed a pair of defensive linemen in non-import Ryan Lucas and import Brandon Collier.

Lucas began last season on the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ practice roster before being claimed by the Montreal Alouettes in July where he appeared in three games, registering one tackle. The 6’5″ Vancouver native also played in both the West Semi-Final and West Final with the Roughriders in 2010, along with the 98th Grey Cup, registering two defensive tackles and one tackle for loss during the playoffs.

Collier played in 49 career games in his home state at the University of Massachusetts, including 43 starts at defensive tackle. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles last summer before being released during training camp after suffering an injury.
