Canadian singer-songwriter Anjulie will headline this year’s Winnipeg Pride Festival, organizers revealed on Wednesday.

The singer, known for such hits as “Brand New Chick” and “Stand Behind the Music” will perform on the main stage at The Forks on Sunday, June 3.

Toronto-based recording artists The Cliks will also perform.

“We’ve got an amazing line-up of talented musicians, dancers, and DJs, including local artists, to help us celebrate our 25th anniversary this year,” said Barb Burkowski, chair of the Pride Winnipeg committee.

Other acts include Womyn Of Pride, and country recording artist Jerry Sereda from Dauphin.
