A visiting German tourist was killed in the RM of Hanover over the weekend after rolling her minivan.

Manitoba RCMP say the single-vehicle crash happened Sunday at about 5:30 p.m. on Road 32N near the intersection of Highway 216.

The woman’s 2003 Dodge Caravan was travelling eastbound at the time when it lost control and rolled into the south ditch. The 28-year-old driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, was taken to Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach where she succumbed to her injuries.

The victim’s name hasn’t been released and police continue to investigate.

Alcohol is not considered a factor in the collision.
