RCMP Investigate Homicide in Northern Manitoba

RCMP are investigating a homicide in Ilford, Manitoba after a 29-year-old man was found unresponsive on Sunday morning.

Police were called to a residence just after 5 a.m. where they found the man outside. The York Landing resident was taken to the local nursing station where he was pronounced deceased.

An autopsy was scheduled for today in Winnipeg.

The victim’s name hasn’t been released and police are continuing to investigate.

UPDATED: Friday, April 13 — The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Jeremy Saunders of York Landing, Manitoba. The cause of death has not been released.
