Manitoba’s best coaches will be recognized Sunday as Sport Manitoba hands out its Coaching Manitoba Excellence Awards.
Coaches will be honoured for their contribution to sport, leadership, personal development and coaching effectiveness.
“Manitoba’s amateur sport system relies on coaches and it is a great honour to host this celebration of coaching excellence,” said Jeff Hnatiuk, president and CEO of Sport Manitoba. “We recognize and appreciate the dedication, time, and energy that our coaches put into the community.”
Awards will be given out in four major categories plus two recognition award categories.
The awards brunch will be held Sunday at 9 a.m. at the McPhillips Station Casino.
