Animal advocacy will be the topic of discussion during “An Evening of Compassion: Advocating for Animals” on Tuesday night.
The Humane Education Network has organized a group of five speakers for the event, being held at the Park Theatre.
The public will hear what each person is doing to save animals’ lives and what you can do.
One of the speakers includes Vicki Burns, president of the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies, and former executive director of the Winnipeg Humane Society. Malory, an eight-year-old marine mammal advocate, will also speak.
