A citizenship ceremony to welcome 50 new Canadians will be held this morning at Vincent Massey Collegiate.
The south Winnipeg school was chosen based on their UNESCO initiatives.
Lt-Gov Philip Lee, Judge Art Miki, MP Joyce Bateman, MLA James Allum, city councillor Jenny Gerbasi and Captain Robert Granholm of the Canadian Forces will be on hand for the ceremony.
The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m.
