A shipment of counterfeit Viagra and Levitra pills were seized by Manitoba RCMP on March 12 after arriving into the country from China.

The Canada Border Services Agency found the bills hidden in electric cooking pots. The pills have an estimated value of about $47,000.

“This is the largest seizure of this type of product that we have made to date,” said RCMP Cpl. John Montgomery of the RCMP Federal Enforcement Section.

RCMP say the counterfeit pills could contain fillers such as talcum powder, crushed wall board, and other drugs and ingredients, which are later painted blue.

No arrests have been made.
