Construction work on Osborne Street north of Granite Way will begin today, as mild weather permitted crews to start earlier than planned.
The west curb lanes on Osborne Street were extended north of Broadway to permit roadwork on Saturday. The west sidewalk on Osborne from Broadway to the bridge will be closed as that sidewalk will be renewed. After June 17, those portions of lanes on Osborne Street will be reopened.
Work is scheduled to be completed by June, while the entire Osborne Bridge renewal project should be finished by late October.
