The executive director of the Manitoba Museum received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal on Wednesday for her contributions to arts, heritage and educational organizations in Canada.
Claudette Leclerc has directed three non-profit organizations in Manitoba over the last 20 years, including the Winnipeg International Children’s Festival, the Folks Arts Council of Winnipeg and the Manitoba Museum
Leclerc was nominated by the Canadian Museums Association (CMA), and presented with the medal at the CMA Awards Ceremony in Ottawa.
