Public Safety Minister Vic Toews will address a group of local business leaders in the city on Friday.
Toews will speak at the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce luncheon at Canad Inns Polo Park, where he’ll talk about the federal government’s plan for securing long-term prosperity for Canadians in uncertain economic times. Toews will also reference action being taken on the world stage to ensure that Canada is well-placed to become increasingly involved in international trade.
The address will begin at around 12:40 p.m. following the noon luncheon. Tickets are $42.50 for Chamber members by calling (204) 944-8484.
