Disraeli Bridge
The city will close a portion of the Disraeli Bridge this weekend for construction.
Beginning at 7 p.m. tonight, the southbound lanes will close to allow for concrete to be poured on the new bridge. Suggested alternate routes for southbound traffic are Hespeler Avenue / Redwood Bridge towards Main Street and Johnson Avenue West / Levis Street / Stadacona Street / Louise Bridge towards Higgins Avenue.
The bridge will reopen at 6 a.m. on Monday in time for the morning commute.
The adjacent sidewalk will continue to be permanently closed, so pedestrians can use the sidewalk on the east side of the bridge.
