The province’s third QuickCare Clinic opened Monday in Selkirk.
The clinic will serve residents of Selkirk and the surrounding areas by providing medical treatment for minor injuries and ailments.
“The new and innovative QuickCare Clinic offers an option for patients with minor health issues who may not be able to get in to see their family doctor and who know the emergency room is not an appropriate destination,” said Manitoba Health Minister Theresa Oswald.
The Selkirk QuickCare Clinic is staffed with nurse practitioners and registered nurses who can diagnose and treat minor health issues.
The clinic is located in the Selkirk Crossing Shopping Centre.
