More than 700 unclaimed bicycles were up for auction over the weekend at the Varsity View Sportsplex. The city's annual bike auction drew hundreds to get a new summer ride at a discounted price. About 200 bikes were given full tuneups by volunteer mechanics as part of a new partnership with the Winnipeg Repair Education and Cycling Hub (WRENCH).
