
John Hindle's new book, 'Making Contact' (HANDOUT)
The former manager of the Winnipeg Goldeyes is coming out with a book about his life experience’s since leaving the team 10 years ago.
John Hindle was the Goldeyes’ original manager from 1994-2002 before holding a similar role with the Sioux Falls Canaries in 2004.
The Winnipegger has gone on to have success in other fields since leaving baseball, including operating and then selling his sporting goods business, Home Run Sports.
Hindle is a now a professional speaker, author and consultant and in “Making Contact,” talks about connecting in a meaningful way with others while sharing insight on his experience with the Goldeyes, running his own business and the success working with the World Women’s Hockey Championship.
A book launch will take place Tuesday, May 22 at McNally Robinson Booksellers at Grant Park at 8 p.m.
