Justice Murray Sinclair will deliver lectures this weekend on the political objectives of the residential schools and the legal implications of land and resource development issues.
Sinclair will hold a two-day workshop at the University of Winnipeg entitled, “Canada’s Indian Residential Schools: What Were They Thinking?”
The U of W alumnus will speak today and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Studio 1L10 and 1L08 (overflow) at 515 Portage Avenue.
Sinclair’s presentation concludes the successful three-part Spring Institute on Indigenous Property, Development and Extraction in Canada and Latin America.
