The City of Winnipeg is looking for feedback from the public on how to best improve the Pembina Highway Underpass.
An open house on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. will show three possible options for the proposed improvements.
One of the options involves removing the existing sidewalk on the east side of the underpass to provide space for a third northbound lane. The changes are needed to increase the number of northbound traffic lanes at the underpass needs from two to three lanes and improve traffic flow. Pedestrian and active transportation facilities along Pembina Highway at the underpass also need to be improved.
The open house will be held at the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists, 870 Pembina Highway.
