The Winnipeg concert for Swedish DJ/record producer Avicii has been moved to September 6 to accommodate production changes.

Avicii was scheduled to perform at MTS Centre on May 27 as part of his Le7els tour.

The production team for Avicii said in a statement the complexity of the show turned up some technical issues at the recent Coachella music festival.

“We can not risk anything but a top notch experience for fans and will move the tour start to June 7, pending venue availabilities,” said Ash Pournouri of At Night Management.

Tickets to the original date will be honoured on September 6. Refunds will also be available at point of purchase.

Tickets for the new concert date are on sale now at Ticketmaster.
