One lucky Manitoban who pedals their way on the Heart and Stroke Foundation Big Bike this year will win a trip for two to Hawaii.

The annual fundraising event will take place throughout several Manitoba communities in June, including Winnipeg, Brandon, St. Eustache/Elie, and Winkler/Morden.

“Riders raise funds that are vital to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and enjoy physical activity with friends, family and co-workers,” said Heather Carroll, provincial Big Bike manager.

Teams of 29 riders mount the bike and pedal through a 2-3 kilometre course for about a 20-minute ride. Every rider who raises $100 will be entered in the grand prize draw for a trip for two to Hawaii, sponsored by Canada One Travel. For every additional $100 raised, they get another entry.
