May 10, 2012 6:38 AM | Entertainment

The Winnipeg Art Gallery is transforming from a place to showcase art into a fashion runway to show off the latest trends from Winnipeg boutiques.

On Wednesday, May 23, the WAG will host “The Collection: A Fashion Show,” as models strut down the runway with wares from Danali, Candie & Dolls, Moulé, and Swank.

The WAG will be showcasing Sarah Pacini, Iris Setlakwe, Nanette Lepore, and former Winipegger Rachel Mara.

Tickets are $40 for WAG members and $50 for non-members. Proceeds from the event will benefit the gallery.
