The two southbound lanes of the Disraeli Bridge will close Friday evening to allow for concrete to be poured on the new bridge.
Crews will close the lanes at 7 p.m., but will reopen them by 6 a.m. on Monday, May 14 in time for the morning commute.
The City of Winnipeg suggests motorists use Hespeler Avenue / Redwood Bridge towards Main Street and Johnson Avenue W. / Levis Street / Stadacona Street / Louise Bridge towards Higgins Avenue for southbound traffic.
Pedestrians will have access on the east side of the bridge.
