Masters of the barbeque grill showed off their best culinary work this past Saturday to judges-in-training as part of a half-day course to become a Certified Barbeque Judge (CBJ) for the upcoming Winnipeg BBQ and Blues Festival August 17-19.
Judges were given pointers on what to look for during this tasty practice round. And yes, they did get to eat the product after.
The Kansas City Barbeque Society travelled north to sanction the course, which does 400 barbeque contests and judging classes annually.
