Bisons’ Pischke, Voth Named to Team Canada

Two Manitoba Bison volleyball players have been named to Team Canada.

Dane Pischke and Chris Voth were selected for the 2012 Team Canada Men’s Volleyball National B Team roster on Wednesday.

The 21-member team roster comes after selection camp at the National Training Centre in Gatineau, Quebec.

It’s Voth’s second time being selected to the senior squad, and Pischke’s first time.

“I am very proud of both individuals making the national team,” Bisons’ head coach Garth Pischke said. “This is a great opportunity for development and to improve their games prior to starting their fifth and final season at Manitoba.”

The players selected to the team will continue to train in Gatineau from May 16 to July 6.
